A lot of the secondary applications I am looking at currently are strictly Adobe Acrobat downloadable, but don't allow you to enter information into the form. How are you guys handling this issue(i.e. handwriting, copy/paste, typewriting, etc)?

BS 🙄

I'm using computers at my school's computer labs that have the full version of Adobe installed. That allows you to put text boxes into the original .pdf file and copy and paste your essay.

I have the full version of Adobe Acrobat 6.0. It lets me text fields in the form and then type in the info.

Here is an interesting offer I came across on the Adobe site:

http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/csdvd.html

I'm not sure how long it will take for the DVD to be shipped, but its free so there's nothing to loose. The program will expire after 30 days, so get all your secondaries edited by that time! 🙂

Awesome!! Thanks for this 🙂 There are pirated copies out on the internet and I know friends with one...but I'm just so much more comfortable using something legit 🙂

on that same website, you can download the individual components for a 30 day trial. any idea which product it is that allows you to edit the pdf documents?

Yes, it is Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional like I said in my first post.

link

It is ~200 MB, so 56Kers beware! 😀

I can't figure out how to enter text into the fields still... it only allows comments and stuff.... anybody know what to do to enter text into these secondaries once in Adobe 6.0 Pro?

thanks a lot in advance!
