Hi,

Is it okay to hand-deliver the secondary application if the medical school is at a reasonable distance? Is it considered positively or negatively? The only reason why I would like to hand-deliver it to some of the local medical schools is to avoid the processing time in the mail room at the university - as a couple of medical schools have told me that it can take 2-3 weeks from the mailroom to the admissions office.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Haven't heard of that being done before but I don't see how it could be a bad thing.

I would give them a quick phonecall first and tell them that you live in the area and feel that it would be just as easy to drop it off on y our way past, rather than making the trek to the post office only to have it end up there days (or weeks) later.

Best of luck.
