Should I have all of my secondary applications prepared, even before they are requested?

As I understand, not all secondary applications are the same and some require statement answers.

If I was asked to fill out secondaries, I'd be compelled to complete them ASAP. I'd hate to be stressed out filling out secondaries last minute, so is it wiser to fill them out ahead of time, even if not all schools request them?

Anyone?

Sorry to ask such stupid questions... But I'm nervous about my first time applying.

Not all schools require secondaries and of those schools each one will vary in what they ask. There are common overlapping questions, some of them being

"Why do you want to go to our school"
"Why should we pick you over everyone else"
"Elaborate on the ECs that you have listed in your application"

Thanks for the reply!

So I guess I should start filling them out secondaries for schools that require it, and just wait on the ones that don't (or that request it later).

I didn't apply to any east coast schools so I don't know much about them but almost every single school from west coast had me fill out secondary apps. And some of them were really very very long in terms of writing essay type answers.

My advice would be to Google secondary apps for the schools you are interested in and prepare teh answers in advance but be prepared to edit your them as some schools might change the questions (in their secondary apps for 2011) ...... best of luck to you!!
