Secondary Applications

Hey all, I have a question. If schools outright reject you, will they at least inform you of their decision so people won't be so anxious waiting for secondary applications?

I've only gotten a secondary for SLU on 6/25. Maybe we could start a thread where people list the secondaries they've received so far? I couldn't find a similar thread -- my apologies if there's already one.

I know from last year that some schools don't even tell you they rejected you. My friend had four such schools do this.

ummm there's the whole school specific discussion threads were people post when they receive their secondaries - go here http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=688 and look for the schools you applied to.

But relax dude, schools just got your primary application on Friday. I doubt they even had time to look at it, much less reject you. Most secondaries will come out between now and mid-August, so be patient.

1) The vast majority of schools will send you a secondary regardless of whether or not they are planning on rejecting you.

2) It's not even July. I didn't get all my secondaries until mid-August. Relax.

After you submit the main application each school requires that you fill out another secondary application of varying length. Some of them have additional essays, some don't. They all usually demand another 50-100 bucks from you a piece.
