Secondary Cutoffs

What I understand is that SOME medical schools do screen for secondaries, some more rigorously than others. Given that this whole process is so expensive, I really don't want to apply to schools if I am going to not even get a secondary.

So, what schools do this? UCSF I heard does this a lot

There's too many schools to list which do and which don't.

And yes, UCSF screens.

They often don't post their cutoffs though.

It might be better to be screened and not spend time on a secondary than wasting time paying the secondary money without a chance in the first place.
