Sort of in a weird situation regarding a question on a secondary asking for an explanation of any "F" I have received. Although I did not receive any "F" for any non-zero credit course, I did receive an F in a pass/fail zero credit course titled "Leadership & residential college." The course was required for students in my undergrad who were in the "residential college program" (which meant we had to do x number of programs a semester, and submit program hours to receive a passing grade). It was mandatory to take the same course (same course # and title) for all the semesters i participated in this res college program, and I received all "P's" for all semesters except one. The semester I received an 'F', I could not submit my programming hours b/c I was sick and got that grade.

SO, I already submitted my the secondary, and selected "no I did not receive any F" (I just realized the above situation after submitting). Is it worth it to email admissions with an addendum saying I forgot to attach the explanation.. or should I just let it be ...? I really don't want to blow my chances at this school, its one of my top choices... Please help me decide, thanks!!!

Yes, send an email for sure. If they look at your grades, they will see an F and then they will see that you later denied having any Fs. Explaining your F won't hurt any more than getting the F in the first place hurts, and you don't want to take the risk of looking like a liar.

What school is this?
