in test packet k
secondary intention healing
observed at 3 days show evidence of
1granulomatous inflammation
2ulceration of epith surface

and ans was 2

also poorest prognosis cancer
1lung cancer
2 pancreatic cancer
and ans was 2
why is not the lung cancer the most deadly one
please answer
thanks for ur help

Ans 1: Choice no 2 is right. I think the key to the answer is day 3 mentioned in Q. Bcoz in secondary intention healing the steps are:
Initial haemorrhage
Acute Inflammatory Phase
Epithelial changes
Granulation tissue formation
Wound contraction.

Ans 2: the reason i came to know abt this is
Pancreatic cancer can be considered one of the most deadly because it is aggressive, spreads rapidly and thus often NOT diagnosed until it is in later stages, and few treatment options exist.
( I came to know abt this conclusion only few days back when an actor Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with this cancer & lot of discussion was going on )

Please correct me if I am wrong.......

i think 1 is correct as an ulcer is a break in the epithelial lining n in healing by secondary intension the margins of the wound do not approximate due to tissue loss eveen after three days n csar formation occours .
moreover the 2nd option says granulomatous inflamation not granulation tissue

and yes pancriatic cancer has the poorest prognosis due to difficulty in diagnosis
