For the schools that have invited me to fill out their secondary (without even having my amcas verified), should I still aim for the two week secondary turn around time? Or does it not matter in this case?

IE: I haven't even started working on U Chicago essays yet and have an invite

What other schools (other than northwestern) actually give you a two week deadline?

I probably won't have my amcas verified until next week. I was hoping to give myself a full month with my secondaries and send them all out in a batch the week of August 10-15.

Do people feel this is a bad idea? I just like doing things in a lump...

Thanks for leting me know that certain schools give specific deadline for the secondary...😱It's scary to me.

What? This sounds insane to me, if I understand you correctly. Prioritize your secondaries. Do the most important schools first, and then send it out. Why would you wait with completed seconaries to send them out in August?

With the exception of a handful of schools (Duke, Georgetown, etc.) it shouldn't take you more than a day or two to complete the secondary. They are easy questions that get repeated many times over.

Got it!~

I haven't gotten my primary verified yet so I'm going to hold off on schools I've already gotten invites to. I really do want them to have at least my primary app before I send in the secondary.

However, even if I don't get verified in the next week, I'll send them out this weekend!

Yea you can send them pre-verification, it's just the school will not look at your application until everything is complete which includes a verified primary, letters, and updated mcat scores.....
