I'm working on the Western secondary and I was wondering how straightforward I should be with the essays. Should I be as thorough as the personal statement, or should I try to put new spins on it? Any advice?

I spent a lot of time and effort filling out my secondaries because I am of the understanding that your secondary plays a huge role in the decision to grant or not grant and applicant an interview... The goal of the application process should be to secure yourself an interview as early as possible, especially since your chances of getting accepted increase so dramtically upone earning an interview... so be straightforward, thoughtful, truthful, precise, succinct, and prompt...
