I want to perform a background check on myself to see what comes up. Anyone know the best place to do so?

Ive heard certiphy is the best route, you dont get charged until after it is complete though. Something like 45-85$ maybe, the price depends on what comes up i think

Try it but they said I can't order it on my own for some reason. The school has to be the one to order, so I think certiphy is out of question. I never go out of states of California so I just do California criminal records check. Nothing come up.

CertiPhi is good but they WILL refuse to run the check on individuals. Don't bother, they only work with organizations and will pretty much tell you to f**k off.
If you REALLY need to run a background check on yourself, the FBI background check is the gold standard. They will run a background check on you. But you need to REALLY want it. The FBI background check is an enormous pain in the ass. You need to print a bunch of forms, send certified checks to a few places, go to your police station and get fingerprints, it's an extremely annoying process... Oh yeah, and it takes about 2 months.
The best thing to do is really just to disclose everything on the application. It's scary to do but if they use CertiPhi they'll find it anyway. Minor infractions don't hurt as much as you think they will... Assuming you're honest.
