Well I've made up my mind to sell our ten acres and move to Gainesville to finish my Bachelors at UF instead of Community College. We are going to look for a little place to stay in that hopefully we can pay for right off with the money we get from the property. I have three kids so no mortgage payment will be nice. My wife is going to finish hygiene school at Sante Fe so she can work while I am in Dental school. I think this will be a better situation considering I wont have to take care of ten acres and most of my science courses will be done at a four year. I am just a little nervous of how much harder the classes will be. :scared: So far I am holding a 4.0 at the CC.

UF's science classes are very do-able.

i wouldn't sell my property. cash is a bad thing to have when trying toget loans/grants. why not try for financial aid and maybe rent out the farm, or sign it off to someone like your kids or parents so it's not on your taxes. then you'll have $$ for school and your own corner of the world. good luck.

I've never taken classes at a CC, but my impression is that there is a difference. I will bet that you're going to be just fine provided you are focused. Settling in at your new residence could be more distracting than you may think. Moving is one the most stressful things that someone encounters. Best of luck. 👍

I know first hand that classes at a four year are much more work than those at a CC. I had a friend who got an F in anatomy at the Univ. of Utah and got one of the easiest A's he had ever got the next semester at the local CC.
