If they're both algebra-based, yeah it's possible and fairly straightforward. Would not recommend if both are calculus-based.
Thanks for the reply!
I checked and it seems like for 201 and 202, you only need to have taken precalc. I believe you need Calc for University Physics.

What are the other courses you are taking? If you are taking another science w/lab, taking both physics courses may not be a good idea due to risk of burnout. It is better to take some easier nonscience classes or science classes w/o lab to spend more time knocking out of physics successfully

I am taking a total of 16 creds (w/ the 2 physics included). I am also taking Chem 2 and Cell Biology; however, I go to a community college right now, so it may be manageable? :& I took 21 creds last semester, so maybe that helped me prepare as well?

Yeah i would not take both physics at the same semester, even if they're taken at CC (@gonnif could elaborate on adcom perceptions of CC credits for your reference 😀). A semester with only science courses is risky so i would take physics 202 at a later time and add a nonscience for this semester instead. You will risk burnout in your current schedule which will hurt your GPA.

I wish I could do that, but this fall semester is my last semester at a cc, so i want to get as much courses over with as possible. For the physics, I chose the same professor who I heard was good, and I am taking the same chem 2 professor as chem 1( so i know how he works). I hope i don't burn out though

Why are you taking cell biology?

Oh, do adcoms look down upon cc? I heard that it was fine, and many people who went to cc first got accepted

It's generally okay but some schools may take issue. The MSAR has this information
I have two universities in mind for transferring. One of them requires it ( even though I dont know if i will go there)

The simplest plan is to defer physics for later.... Once you transfer into a university

Oh alright ill think about it more then! Thanks!!
