send in mcat retake? only 1 pt improvement

So I just got back a retake MCAT score, and it only improved 1 point composite. Both AMCAS and ACCOMAS have been sent out to multiple schools and verified. On those apps, I DID list that I was waiting for a retake, though my original score was on there.

Am I required to send my new score out to the schools I've already applied to?
If not required, should I?

Another detail: my first score was very balanced, but the new one is not balanced unfortunately
