So I couldn't find a previous thread on this question...so here we go:

My AADSAS application has been processed by all the schools I've applied to. I've also filled out most the secondary applications possible. Since I filled out those applications, I've done some more community service, shadowing, and I just recently got a job as a dental assistant. My question is there any way I can send a letter with all this new information to the schools for their consideration? Or do I just need to wait until my interviews to bring it to their attention? I'm assuming this information would REALLY help my chances of landing some more interviews, for this reason I come to all of you for advice...

Not sure if those facts alone will net you more interviews, probably not. If you really want to update schools, I would send a letter with the updated information but if you've only been a dental assistant for 2 weeks now or something close, I wouldn't waste their time. The updates better be worth their time.

Thanks for the advice, I totally agree. I think it will be more stuff to talk about during the interview when they ask what I've been up to this summer.

Personally, I would hold off. I think it's a good idea to bring it up during the interview and remember the person interviewing you will be impressed that you are still staying involved post-application, so it can only help. Plus bringing up things that they aren't seeing on your file in front of them will only help spark further conversations.
