Is it possible to send in a new updated transcript after my summer classes? It will boost my non-science GPA by like .12. I was 4th batch so it's been a bit since schools already got my official gpa. I want to send in the scores so I can be a bit more competitive.

Also, does the last semester/year grades of your undergrad count heavily towards getting acceptances? or no.

You cannot officially update until Nov. 16. However you can contact schools individually and ask them if they will accept summer transcripts. From my experience, some schools (i.e. UoP, UNLV) will accept only an e-mail update and will make a note on your application (the reason is because most of them are paperless now). Some others will take official transcripts (i.e. UPenn, NYU).

Ohh, and your second question - most schools seem to indicate that it depends on what classes and how many you are taking. If you have full load mostly filled with science/biomedical classes than the answer is YES! But if you are taking it easy it might have an opposite effect.
