I was fortunate enough to get an interview for early next month at a school thats about 45 min from Detroit. I want to send an ITA to the schools there because its "crunch time" in our lab and with the holidays I have limited PTO so Im trying to limit how much work I miss (plus we are getting slammed with data so I dont want us to get really far behind). On top of this, I have a decent update that includes new research projects, promotion at volunteering, conferences, abstracts, etc. which I am planning on sending to all schools I havent heard from. Since pre II updates dont seem to be as influential as updates sent after getting the interview, should I send the ITA and then wait to send the update? Or will it not really matter much in the grand scheme of things?
