Hi everyone,

Please excuse me if this has already been asked before (I'm running late at the computer lab). I am aware that DO schools have secondaries, but I was curious as to whether or not applicants are supposed to immediately send their LOR's to each school that they applied to in AACOMAS and then wait for a secondary? Or is it just like MD schools where you send the letters along with the secondary?

I am also in a predicament. I've taken the MCAT twice. Once in 8/02 when I got a 23Q and then 8/03 when I got a 29R. I found on the MCAT site that I can actually DE-select the 8/02 score and send only the 8/03 score to non AMCAS schools. Knowing this, would it be safe to tell AACOMAS that I have only taken the MCAT once and give them just the higher score? Also, even if I am able to send the 8/03 MCAT, will the report say that I have taken the MCAT twice? Has anyone here done this?

Thanks a lot to whoever replies! 👍

I have no clue how anything would show up on the report. However, I would be cautious about not telling about the first MCAT. If they find out some way and you are not honest about it...it would be much more detrimental than if you were honest about your first score, even if it is not a score you were pleased with.
