Sending more than 4 letters

Hey all,

If I wanted to send 5 letters of recommendation, then how would I do so since OptomCAS allows up to 4? Is there a way for my last recommender to send it directly to the school? Or what would be done in this case?

there is no need for 5 LOR's. If 4 letters can't do the job, than something is wrong; either with the letter, or with you. lol. (no offense).

If you need to send additional letters for any reason you can contact the school to get the address they want them sent to and you will need to have the individual send it directly to that school and most school's will say what characteristics they want the LOR to discuss and that it will need to be on official cardstock and yada yada yada.. I know this because I used my 4 LOR's on 2 OD's and a Manager I worked under and a professor and one of my schools i applied to wanted two professors so I had to have the other professor fill out an LOR and send it directly to the school and the school was perfectly fine with that!

Would 1 letter from the prof and 1 from your optometrist be enough?

Depends on the school. Check the website, prob under admission requirements.
