I was wondering if it is okay to send the supplemental fees before primary application has been mailed out.

I did, and it worked out perfectly. Especially if you are mailing money order/cheques, it might take some time and in my case, be received by the schools on the same day that the AADSAS application is mailed out!

If you've e-submitted, the application is available for dental schools to view, regardless of whether it's been "mailed." I'd suggest sending out checks/supplementals as soon as possible after e-submitting.

They can see it even before the gpa is verified? How do you know this?

Good question - I'm not sure if it's available before the GPA is calculated. I received my first secondary three days after my GPA was verified, but paid all fees requested on school's websites the day I e-submitted. Check out glimmer's timeline thread- I think there are some details confirmed by AADSAS regarding when applications are available to schools

right here. it's probably a function of your gpa first being verified by aadsas before schools reach out (in some cases) and tell you they've received your verified app.

i didn't receive an unprovoked email from schools until my gpa was verified last month, three weeks after submission.

Just got email from Buff that app is under consideration and my gpa isn't verified. 😕
