So, my school will be sending out all transcript requests on May 30th and the registrar told me that it may take up to 2 weeks. I feel like that's taking too long, so I want to send via Fedex. In this case, I would have to request a Electronic copy to school and the school will send the copy to Fedex. Then Fedex will deliver via express to AADSAS.

Is it okay to send via Fedex? or should I just request a standard delivery via school?
I was going to call AADSAS but they're closed now and wanted to ask if anyone has done the same.

I would think your school should send out transcripts within a day or two after your request, barring any financial holds and stuff like that, as long as you told them you want it processed as is. Did you make sure you did not select "process after grades posted for <x>" or "process after degree posted for <x>"?

The school told me that "Process after grades posted" is being send out on May 30th.
I'm debating whether to use Fedex on May 30th or school mailing system.

Do you have a problem with processing now rather than after grades posted? I would imagine that while using FedEx is not impossible, it's probably going to cost more than it's worth.

School said they will be sending the transcript including the grade for this semester on May 30th. That's why I have to wait till May 30th. But AADSAS states that I must request a paper copy directly from school. So I'm guessing Fedex option should not be used?

Did you take a look at your transcript yourself? In your case May 30 may be when the registrar assumes all grades are posted, in case an instructor was just being lazy. If all of your grades are already in, then just go for it and ask them to process your request now - your grades from the semester will be there.

If you wanted to FedEx your transcript, I don't see anything wrong with doing so, but I also don't see any benefit to paying the extra cash. As long as you submit your application sometime in June (doesn't have to absolutely be the first day), you are early in the game.

I picked up a sealed, hard copy transcript from my school and mailed them myself. I did this three separate times--for academic updates--and I never had any issues.

Oh really? I’m going to call aadsas to check on this!

I thought AADSAS allowed this only if it is your schoolss policy that they only give transcripts to you?

No idea. I called AADSAS and asked if I could send them myself and they said that as long as everything was sealed, it was fine.
