Idiotically I submitted my application with all 10 letters of my recommendation to all 15 schools I'm applying to! Only now did I realize that many of them ask for only 2 or 3. Was this a really dumb mistake? I don't know how to retract my letters, if that is at all possible. What should I do?! 🙁

I'm thinking maybe I should go through and call each school and tell them which letters I'd like them to consider...or maybe I should email each school's admission office?

I would say that it's too late and calling them won't do much of anything.

Your school not have a premed committee?

Have you looked at your LOR mailing companies FAQ? I'm sure they have a similar question. I'd first email your mailing company or call and see if they can defer selected LOR's to the schools.

If that doesn't work I'd contact Admissions to those schools ASAP and tell em you made a boo boo.
