I was getting scores in that range, but I bought every single cheap book on Chem, Bio, Orgo, Micro, and Calculus and did my best. I would suggest you do some technical reading to improve your RC and Verbal. Try the Wall Street Journal.

Well, free advice falls under te "you get what you pay for" heading, but unless you scored abouve 95% in the writing/verbal/reading areas, I strongly recommend you take every opportunity to practice writing in full and complete sentences, using real words as opposed to chatroom shorthand.

If you were ever an athlete, you know that the way you play in practice is the way you'll play in the game, so think of all written conversation as practice. Do it right, until it becomes second nature.

And don't bother wasting anyone's time with excuses for why it's okay to tak lik dis on the internet. Look more closely at your score: in your case, it's clearly not okay.

sho nuff cap'n.

der's a man what knoweds wut he be talkin 'bout.

Focus your studying on the parts you did poorly on. Seems obvious but it always worked for me.

I used the Kaplan PCAT book and the PCAT flashcards book. I went from a 51 to a 76 composite. Also, try to make yourself feel calm when taking the test. This seemed to help me a lot. The first time I took it, I was nervous wreck, and I think it showed in my scores.

I can't think of how many people I've told this to.
