The suspended sentence will allow Rashed, a 2005 graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark, to seek (but fail to obtain) his medical license in New Jersey upon completion of his residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Fixed, hopefully anyway

He completed his residency in emergency medicine and still practices

Wow, you'd think something like that would be a career ender. That guy is lucky to have a second chance.

Seems like he had a helping hand..

Why should it end his career if he has all the necessary qualifications otherwise? Sounds like he just got played by a possibly sociopathic female. I've seen worse.

I would think it might harm his career since stealing human remains is a crime and medicine is not big on people with criminal records.

Seems like he had a helping hand..

👍

This is reminding me of Dexter (Season 1) quite a bit. Very strange news story... What could the guy have been thinking?!

You've gotta hand it to him - that's one hell of a gift. It sounds like the girl just had him under her thumb. The story seems kind of familiar, but I can't put my finger on where I remember it from. Either way, as long as he knuckled down after the incident and did well I don't know if there's any reason he shouldn't be allowed to practice.
