Effectively, yes. Just retake 1 or 2 classes at a CC to get that cGPA >3.0 and have an above average MCAT (28+). Good ECs, LORs, and applying early are a given, of course.

What's your financial case? Be a degree-seeking student if you need federal loans/grants. If you're non-degree, you'll have to pay out of pocket or through private loans.

Yeah, I have a friend who also retook classes just to get above a 3.0, he had a mid 30 MCAT score. He got into his top DO choice with ease. I don't think any MD school gave him love though.
