greetings,

for all of you who applied ONLINE to SGU, how long did you wait to turn in your ONLINE application after mailing in your transcripts, letters, photo, etc?👍

I actually submitted the online app on a Saturday and had all the requisite info FedEx'd up and had everything in NY by that Friday. I've got an account with FedEx and just gave the registrars the acct. # and none of them had a problem overnighting the transcripts for me.

Did the same for photos, letter of recc, etc.

so you submitted your online apps first. cool. i'm planning on doing it this week -- both online and snail mail stuff. i was thinking of getting them certified by usps, but overnight is even a greater idea. thanks.

You're welcome. Just keep in mind that I overnighted everything because I was submitting my application in May for the August class (just about 4-6 weeks before the cutoff for August applications). Assuming you're applying for Jan 08 then I'd just send it snail mail. However, sending it FedEx or UPS ground is fairly cheap and gives me peace-of-mind that it'll get there--and the tracking # is always nice. UPS will be cheaper than FedEx, btw, but I prefer FedEx.

it would be easier to gather all my transcripts together and just mail them in one big envelope. of course they will each have the seal of the school. i'm applying for the jan 08 term, so i will just have it certified.
