I am trying to see the differences between these schools. Prices seem comparable, with SGU being much more expensive than the rest. Also, competitive residency placements seem to be roughly equal: SABA really surprised me with the number of specialized residencies that were acquired.

So.... questions:

1) is ECFMG necessary for Step 3 USMLE from any of these 4 schools?

2) Are Ross and SABA and significantly cheaper than SGU in the long run, given travel, housing and tuition expenses? Which of the 4 is the best "bang for the buck"?

3) Which of the 4 has better instructors?

4) If I take MCATs in April, can I apply to all 4 for the fall of same year?

5) And finally, how many semesters do these schools actually have? Im confused with the whole trimester thing. Are these schools different from each other in this regard?

6) I have no funds at all to pay for my education. Are all 4 schools eligible for federal loans? If not, how much more expensive are the private loans, and am I guaranteed to get them?

thanks.

tution wise ross and saba are cheaper and living conditions are probably about the same.in all honestly you're gonna be in debt regardless so there isnt really a bang for you buck..choose the right you feel more comfortable with

3) Which of the 4 has better instructors?

as with any school some are good and some are bad..your dealt with what you have.

4) If I take MCATs in April, can I apply to all 4 for the fall of same year?

yeah although they ross and sgu wont give you a decision without mcats on your record not sure about saba and auc though

5) And finally, how many semesters do these schools actually have? Im confused with the whole trimester thing. Are these schools different from each other in this regard?

ross has 16 with 12 weeks in miami for into to clinicals..auc is 20 months including the clinical part..sgu is 2 years..summers off..ross and auc you have like 2-3 weeks off each semester but go year round.sgu structures it more like a u.s. school.saba dont know

6) I have no funds at all to pay for my education. Are all 4 schools eligible for federal loans? If not, how much more expensive are the private loans, and am I guaranteed to get them?

all are cali approval which is good.cali is the toughest state to get approved from..you can get stafford loans among other loans depending on what the schools go with..

good luck!
