Shadowed a DO specializing in OMM but he won't write me a LOR. Find another DO or?

I shadowed a DO OMM specialist for 20ish hours but he is slacking and I don't think I'll be able to get a LOR from him. Should I find another DO or can I just apply with a strong MD letter?
