Hey SDN! I'm a first-year med student from Canada and have been hoping to do some shadowing abroad this summer, especially in France. Does anyone know of any organisations that coordinate international clinical placements, or have suggestions as to where I could look for more information?

Isn't the point of shadowing to learn more about the specialty and practice? How would doing that in a foreign country teach you about medicine in the US or Canada?
