Shadowing an OBGYN - tips?

Hi there-

I'm going to be observing my obgyn in a hospital setting. This is my first shadowing experience so I was wondering if anyone could provide tips or suggestions for me? It's just for half a day but I'm very excited about it.

know how to do an antepartum and a post partum exam
fundal heights
uterine tenderness
temperature
meds mom was on
complications vacuum or csection why
plans of bith control
rh status and blood type
try to go to the hospital a little earlier and get this info.

antepartum what is fht and contractions like
rupture of membranes?
what is dating by
ie 40 wks confirmed by 15 wk u/s=last menstral period normal triple screen? did mom have GBS or DM or STDs normal pap?

Are you serious? I'm not a med student, just a bum from off the street basically and I don't know about all that you jotted down. Now I'm worried...
