Shadowing experience on resume?

Hi,

I searched this on the forum but couldn't find anything.

I need to submit a resume and I came on the shadowing dentist experience and I don't really know how to put it in words and describe my experience. I kinda just "shadowed" and watched him do stuff. I know this sounds weak but cut me some slack.

Can anybody help me or tell me kinda what they wrote? Thanks! Any help would be awesome!

You only have so many characters to explain what you did. I think the biggest thing is to not only say " I did this and that" but to tell them what you learned, like "I was able to see how the economy has directly affected a general dentist" or something like "After seeing what an orthodontist's work is like, I would definitely like to learn more about the specific procedures." Something like that...I think they just want to see that you thought about your experience.

Both. My schools wants a resume as well for the committee letter they will be sending out. Ideas?
