shadowing hour requirements

Hi guys,

For those who just finished applying, or those applying this summer, do you know of specific school requirements for the number of hours shadowing a dentist? Is it the total hours that count, or do they want a certain number of hours from each dentist you shadow?

Please list schools and their requirements, if you know of any. Thanks!

The only school I applied to that had a min hours of shadowing was Tufts and they required 30 hours I believe? As for the rest of the schools I applied to they wanted shadowing hours but they didn't specify a minimum amount.

vcu likes to see about 100 hrs before you enter d-school

OHSU wants a minimum of 50 hours total, and suggest that at least 25 of those hours be in "general dental practice."
