Shadowing (not externing) at OMFS program?

I'm a D2 and we're going on winter break pretty soon and I was wondering if dental students are allowed to shadow (not extern) at OMFS programs? I'm really interested in going back to my home program from undergrad where I first shadowed when I was in uni. I just don't know if that's even possible to do haha! Any thoughts? Thanks!

Just reach out to the program director. You're allowed to assist in the OR here in the hospital at my school as a dental student.
