hi all. I am shadowing a D.O. pediatrician tomorrow. I would like to get some idea of what is proper to wear? It is a family medicine clinic, so not in a hospital. Besides comfortable shoes 🙂 what would you all suggest????? I would appreciate any ideas advice...THANKS! 🙂

look professional. I would say kakis, button down shirt and maybe a tie

How about telling us if your male or female?

sorry...didn't think about that til i got the tie response. I am a female. All the other posts I was able to find were regarding male dress, ie. ties, etc... Thanks Again

I wore slacks/long skirt and a nice shirt. I thought that was appropriate. Always dress professional.

Yea, definately want to look as professional as possible. It helps put the patients at ease if the young punk who's watching the doctor violate them has at least taken to time to look nice.
