i shadowed 4 general dentists. is it necessary to shadow a periodontist or an oral surgeon?

necessary no, but it can be interesting since they;ll do some procedures that a GP normally doesn't do. I really enjoyed watching the oral surgeon do his thing, I got there like 5 minutes late and the guy already had 2 or 3 of the 4 wisdom teeth already out.
