I would like to find a D.O in the area which I might be able to shadow for x ammount of time this summer. How would I go about finding these D.O.s and how do I approach them? thanks all!

what do you guys think would be the best thing to do if I can find a D.O. on the website that I am intrested in shadowing?

Give his/her office a call. Doctors are generally way to busy to answer emails. Or at least that was my experience. But if you call and explain what you want to do, all they can say is either yes or no, and they wont leave you hanging. It is also a little easier to find a docs phone number than email address. Just give him/her a ring and see where it goes from there. Good luck.

you are right, doc's are too busy to check/reply to their emails so phone calls are way better. BUT is it just me or does that website sparingly list contact info. ive tried to search DOs in all of my local zip codes and its really difficult to find one with an email address listed nonetheless a phone number. can anyone help me out? thanks!
