When am I supposed to shave and how often? Do you guys listen to Goljan while you shave or do you study from all the post-it notes of pharm drugs on the bathroom mirror?

What I did was scribble out the entire bacterial identification flowchart on my bathroom mirror using one of those whiteout pens so that I could study it while I shaved or brushed my teeth. However, since I only do either one of those things every other week, I'm really not benefiting.

Yeah, I totally recommend NOT shaving for at leat two months before Step 🙂 I had this ritual for both the MCAT and Step 1, and I rocked both--so it must work!

i have rigged an adapter for my ipod, electric toothbrush, electric shaver and a primitive speaker made of a refrigerator magnet and pages of the RR path so that i can do it all at once through a USB connection while hitting up UWorld questions...and i filled my NCAA bracket out with rate-limiting enzymes just to be safe 🙂

I would suggest to shave once/week as there is definitely something calming about stroking your beard while you are stressed and studying. Also, it is a must to listen to Goljan while you shave as that extra 5 minutes/week will make or break your score.

Forget the girls and rock step1 first. During your third year, you have all the time in the world to bang-the-mucous out of nursing and PA students in your rotations. If you don't have a girl friend now, i suggest jacking-off with porn to ease the tension or you can go get somethin from the streets-though it'll probably burn while you pee after that.😀

Since we all know guys and girls are opposites, girls need to shave as much as they can. I would suggest twice a day, but that is just to be safe. I heard that listening to Goljan while doing it is an efficient way to manage your shaving time.

you kno, i don't think i have time to shave either though. im just gonna let it all grow out and braid it if it gets in the way... i'll listen to goljan while braiding my armpit hair... much safer than listening while shaving!
