Hi!
I need to take the microbiology/immunology shelf exam before my boards (remedial). My school doesn't usually give the shelf in micro. Does anyone know about the micro shelf exam or take it this year? Does it have molecular biology too?

The micro shelf covers virology, parasitology, bacteriology, infectious disease, antibiotics, etc. Any questions relating to molecular bio will have to do with phages, antibiotic mechanisms, that sort of thing.... They won't ask any molecular bio that is unrelated to microbiology.

Not all schools take the Immunology section of the exam, which is the last 30 or 40 questions.
