I had a question regarding the shelf exam, what were the hem/onc questions like - did you need to know all those treatments for all the different leukemias?

If so I don't remember 1 question on leukemias - so maybe there were 1 or 2.

Assuming you are talking about the medicine shelf, I don't remember much heme/onc at all. (I didn't do a heme/onc rotation and didn't know squat about it) I did however do a cardio rotation, and it paid off big time.

Know your cardiology. Don't worry about heme/onc (at least the version I took back in September!)

Also rheumatology/autoimmune disease is big - You can definitely expect a couple questions on the big AI conditions -- rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's/UC, ITP, etc. maybe a zebra question that touches on sarcoid or scleroderma.

Don't think you need to know the leukemia treatment cycles (maybe on Heme-Onc fellowship boards...)
