I know this is a sort of stupid question so a simple stupid answer will be sufficient. What exactly is a shelf exam? I see you have to take them after rotations but i would like to know more. How long are they? How detailed? If you find yourself very prepared for your rotation how much more do you have to study? What happens if you fail? What happens if you do average? Do you have to take them for every rotation? What about after 4th year electives? Thanks in advance

the shelf exam is not unlike the annhilator from american gladiators. you must run up the conveyor belt, cross the rings, climb up the net, shoot a gladiator with a nerf rifle, and cross the finish line. if you dont come in first you die.
