My school offers courses called Short Calculus I and II.

MATH 100A. Short Calculus I (3)
Lec-3
The calculus sequence MATH 100A-100B is intended for students majoring in business, technology, social sciences, or life sciences.
Lines, algebraic functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, limits, derivatives, and integrals, with applications.

MATH 100B. Short Calculus II (3)
Lec-3
The calculus sequence MATH 100A-100B is intended for students majoring in business, technology, social sciences, or life sciences.
Calculus of trigonometric functions, techniques of integration, Taylor polynomials, multivariable calculus, and differential equations, with applications.

Would these courses satisfy the Calculus requirements for the several medical schools that have them? Thanks.

most schools say something like 'these courses must be real courses intended for science majors and not introductory classes or seminar classes for students of another major' about the science prereqs... so it's up to you if you want to gamble about that on the math prereq because they could probably decide to apply the same statement if they wished

The part you put in quotes - I realize you were paraphrasing - but can you provide some support for your claim that most schools say something like this?

I ask because I have not come across that sort of statement for any med school (not counting WashU and Harvard which have some serious calc pre reqs).

Thanks for the opinions. Math is not one of my strong points, so this class naturally stood out for me.
