Is it a bad sign if your interview was short? I just recently interviewed at a school I really like but my faculty interview was just a little under 30 minutes. There weren't any awkward silences or anything and it was going ok but I would've liked it to be longer. Anyone have a similar experience? How did it turn out?

Most of my interviews have been 30 minutes. I wonder if we interviewed at the same place today... 😀

mine have been around 30 minutes as well
not sure if it's a good sign or not, i will let you know in a few months

i've heard of some people with short interviews that got in and some with long interviews that didn't get accepted so you never know (of course this is only anecdotal). all you can do is give it your all and hope for the best 🙂

Short vs. long does not mean anything. It's about the quality of the meeting. They already know all about you on paper. They probably can gauge the type of person you are after the first 10-15 min.

The length doesn't mean much or even how you think it went. I had interviews I thought went really well that I didn't get into and ones that went so-so and I got in. It's just a waiting game...it really sucks I know I've been there...but you just have to be patient and not read too much into things
