Shortcomings on app. . . where???

I e-submitted my application yesterday but did not find any place on the application to account for any shortcomings I may have had . . .low grades. . .gap in education. . .etc.

Anyone know where to put this???

Try doing a search. There are about three of these threads up right now. If you need help finding them, let me know and I will post the links.

So basically you do not know? Come on people. . .if you are going to waste your breath telling someone to do a search. . .or if you think you are just so capable to wip up the links and post them--Why not just do it? I am referring to this cycle's application. I filled it out in its entirety and did not find any appropriate place to put it.

Excuse me, but why the hell would you want to post your shortcomings? You are vying for a spot amongst many, many, many, qualified candidates. If at all you get an interview, you should only talk about these there, in person. Mistakes on paper are simply flaws or better stated, "chances to hurt your application". You may have made mistakes, but point these out through what you hopefulyl did to correct them...improved grades, ect...and hope to god you get an interview. Good luck.

Nice. Just calm down. It was only a question. I wanted to make sure that I hadn't skipped something. My education was interrupted because I went out of the country for 2 years---simply thought a question like that could clear up the gap. No need to go crazy. . .

I applied last year, and I don't remember a spot on the application where they asked for my shortcomings. They saved those questions for the face-to-face interview!

Not sure about 2006's application, but last year, AADSAS has this question: A15. Has your education ever been interrupted or affected adversely for reasons other than deficiencies in conduct or academic perfomance?
