hi,

in the supplemental application, they asked for other school that I applied to. Do I have to list every school out? if I don't, is there anyway they find out?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but can't they see your entire AADSAS application - including all the of the schools you applied to?

i think the schools you apply to are confidential, but in any case I would list all schools just in case. you really really really don't want to get caught lieing!

jb!

They can see your online AADSAS if they choose to look. So yes, I would list all of the schools.

Yeah just list them all. Don't start lieing now. Are you going to be the dentist that contributes to the negative image of dentists? The ones who make up treatment to increase production without the patient having any idea?

Just list them all and prepare your answer during interviews as to why you applied to those schools.

Best of luck.

I agree, tell them.

In one of my interviews It was viewed positively that I applied to twenty schools. At case both interviewers agreed that with as competitive as things are nowadays, if you are serious about dental education youshould apply to as many schools as you can afford.

Other explanations are:

-that you were advised to by your pre-dental advisor.
-you weren't sure how competitive you would be.
-you want to be a dentist more than anything and wanted to make sure you got in to a dental school.

In my three other interviews it wasn't even brought up.
I was told that every school that you applied to has access to your full app and that you waived all privacy with the consent form.

Either way fibbing never gets you anywhere! Having to lie in an interview can really make you uncomfortable and interviewers can pick up on that.

thank you all for your inputs, especially Dsmack. I applied for 10 school and it will takes time to fill them out for every school. I hate it. It does't mean I want to hide anything. thanks again everybody

Ditto! Right on the money!

The printout that AADSAS sends out to all the schools you are applying to has every single school that you are applying to in the right top corner.

So, if I were you - definitely put them all.
