Hello!
So I have been scoring around 510-515 on my AAMC FL scores and am taking the exam next month
I have a gpa of 3.6 and a LOR from a DO and an MD doctor
I am a full time clinical researcher (I work with patients and do paperwork) and run my own non-profit organization support group for patients who are undergoing chemo therapy
If I take the August exam and get around 510. Would it be alright to apply to MD and DO school? I have already completed my primaries and personal statement.
I have already taken a gap year and don't want to take another one

Thank you!

Where is your state of residence ? You will receive your score in September which if fine for DO schools. A September application is somewhat late for MD schools as all the September and October interviews slots will all be filled.

I am in Texas.

September is very late for TX. I'd advise against it with a 3.6/510 and otherwise average app. Many schools will have prematched a good chunk of their class by the middle of October when your app would *maybe* start being evaluated by schools.

Agreed with Lucca.

Submitting your primary next month is pretty late (assuming you haven't already submitted). Also by the time your MCAT score will come in, a majority of interview invites would have been sent out which further reduces your chances of getting accepted as an average applicant.
