Hello,

I am a PA resident applying to dental school this cycle and feel as though I am stuck in a weird position. I have applied to 10 schools with my applications being complete as of mid-July (I had everything in early June except my LOR from my dentist). Now that it is October, I have had four interviews at:

VCU - early August
LECOM - late August (first invite though)
UMich- Late September
Temple - Late September

I feel like the interviews went well, but you never really know. Anyways, I am wondering if I should apply to more schools? I am surprised that I didn't get more invites given my stats:

oGPA - 3.63
sGPA - 3.64
DAT - 25AA/25TS/26PAT

I applied to:

Temple
Pitt
Penn
UMich
VCU
LECOM
Case Western
Rutgers
Harvard (I mostly just wanted them to send me their stationary, I really don't care what it says lol)
Tufts

I am happy with the interviews I have received so far, but I upset that Pitt and Penn never got back to me. Are there any other good choices that would be wise to apply to this late in the cycle?

Tufts moves slow. I applied in June and they sent me an invite last week and I denied it. Penn seems also pretty slow. You could theoretically add any schools at this point but your application would be coming to them late and by this time you would be looking at post december interviews for any new schools you add

You could add more if it'll make you feel calmer (I know I did that earlier this cycle lol) but I really don't see why you should! Most schools recommend you submit by September 1st, and yo, you've got 4 interviews, you're doing flipping great! If you do add more, like prince said, it'll probably be for post-december, and by then, you'll already be accepted (I hope!) and possibly have some pretty great schools to pick from.
