Hi,
While I am not an official transfer student I have taken courses at an accredited Medical School (albeit overseas). Is it worthwhile to try and receive credit for the courses I took (Anatomy, Histology and some...)?
The way I see it, even if I do get credits, I will not be saving a year...instead I might gain a few windows in my schedule. I am leaning towards retaking these courses for two main reasons :
1) Every course has its nuances (especially in medicine...theres always something new to learn or build on)
2) The courses I took overseas were not geared towards USMLE step 1.
Any other opinions out there..perhaps students who with a similar background?
Thanks!
