Greetings! So currently I'm about to become a 5th year senior. My major is biology. I need to complete my gen chem sequence as well as organic sequence. Both are on the OAT. I haven't take the OAT test because I haven't taken Organic yet. My GPA is 2.6. will improve after I retake Gen Chem. (Were on the quarter system). what do you guys think... I've finish calc. and physics with flying colors.

If you are retaking Gen Chem and haven't even done O Chem the OAT will be quite a pain for you. After 4 years of college a retake Gen Chem will really not raise your GPA that much. You are going to have to rock the pants off of the OAT to be competitive with that GPA and in my opinion I would wait a year and study a ton for the OAT.

Also I'd consider post-bac work to improve that GPA.

Anything is possible...this is just the opinion you've asked for. I've heard of low GPA's getting accepted. The lowest I know was a friend with a 2.8 and got into UMSL after applying to 10 schools.
