Hey, just want some advice.
I have about 10 invites including UCSF, MGH, Stanford, etc, but I am still waiting for 2 interviews that I really want (OHSU and Utah). My last letter came in with the MSPE to complete my app, it seems those schools early invited those with complete apps. I am from a great midwest school, with Step 1/2 score: 99. All of my interviews so far have been extremely positive.

Should I contact the schools by email to show my great interest or should I wait it out? I'm worried that all the interview slots are full due to the high volume of applicants this year.

Well, if it helps, OHSU has been full for interviews. I received an email a while back stating that I was on the waitlist for an interview. Don't know about Utah.

I did send a reply to OHSU when I got that email to show my interest, so I guess it wouldn't hurt, but not sure if it helps.

can't hurt to email them. go ahead. i'd call too, but not until next month or so.

go ahead and call them. they would be delighted to grant an interview to someone who makes the extra effort to express their true desire to be part of their program. I've been calling places I haven't heard back from and got 3 interview invites...it pays off.

I didnt know there was anesthesia residency for podiatry students. If you want an invite call them asap.
