Should I contact?

As a premed the best thing you can learn is PATIENCE.
There may be a hundred reasons why you are not contacted yet:
You are not going to get an interview
You are not a "top candidate" and will get a later interview
There is a lag in the interview sessions (as many people are in New Orleans this week for the conference)
Mail can be slow
PCOM is flooded with applications and your is not on the top of the pile (3500 a year)
Try to be patient.
If you cant wait a bit now, imagine when you are waiting to get your exam back. There are too many neurotic people in medical school already. Dont be another.

I, personlly, CANT wait for my exams...I have to go check with the secretary every hour on the hour. It is pathological, really😉
Good luck to you, and be patient. I know that it is the most stressful time right now, but just think about how great it will be when it is all over

hate to be the bummer of the group but i still havent heard from them concerning my application in 2002...hahahha pretty funny isnt it...i know for a fact that there is an MS3 at another DO school that still hasnt heard back from them...so you can call but they will tell you the same thing every time...."you will hear from us by may"
Doode, I've been waiting for a response from PCOM for over 3 months now...I've called them probably about 5 times now, restated how its my first choice and updated my app. with some new stuff too. They've told me, like bryant mentioned, it could take until April. However, when I mentioned how long I've been waiting, the admin person said I should most likely hear something sooner than later...

I think that my story is well know on this board, but I am still waiting to hear back from PCOM regarding my October 2001 interview.
I would know about the whole patience virtue...considering I've been teaching hormonally imbalanced high school kids!
I actually had my application complete at CCOM for about 2 and a half weeks now, and I wanted to know if I was offered an interview because I could take a detour from a nearby school I am interviewing at and save myself some money in the process. Yes, I broke down and called them this morning to notify them that I had a lot of mail that has been getting lost....no lie either. They were really helpful and actually gave me an estimate for time to wait. They said it takes two weeks after a file is complete AND THEN they review the file. I guess that means that they will be reviewing sometime soon. Geez, I HOPE they ask me for an interview they are my number 1/2 choice.
Good luck, call, it can't hurt you too much (I think)
