Hello...
I'am taking Organic Chem II right now in college along...but I did bad at the 1st test...and I dont think Im ready for the 2nd test ( which is tomorow morning ) ..so do u think I should drop ?....and do dental school care how many classes u've dropped ??

I think you should just tought it out. I think you can do it. One bad test grade wont necessarily kill your grade unless its worth a lot. Just study hard and kill on those next few tests. 😎

You still have more time to drop, see if you can pull your grade up. And most definately D-schools look at withdrawls. Too many W's could signify you aren't a serious student. Especialy with an essential pre-req. such as Organic II dropping a gym class/lit class is not frowned upon as much as O-chem a grade the adcomms look at more heavily then other classses. Stick it out and buckle down.......

also, a lot of o-chem classes are curved to a certain degree b/c almost everyone does bad in it most of the time. just do better than everyone else around you and you'll be fine.

One W on my transcript from getting hitched that semester (later retook the class and got a B+)

Everything worked out for me.

I would evaluate how motivated you are for studying for the rest of the semester. Does your teacher curve? Can you spend 20 + hours a week going for the A? What does your overall GPA look like? A 3.6 with a couple of C's in Ochem wont kill you....etc.

I wouldn't drop if I were you. Do yall drop a test? At my school we get to. I would work hard the rest of the semester. At my school orgo II is tough and the grading scale is curved... last year an 82 was an A 😱

I would definately form a study group and work lots and lots of practice problems. Also work on speed !
